Design and Experience

At first I didn’t really think much of the design of the site because although I generally prefer simplicity, it did come across as a bit dull and uninviting.

Available Games

Usually I don’t know where to start when picking games to test but this time it was a no-brainer. I obviously wanted to see what this boost-your-winnings was all about so Wanted Dead or a Wild (by Hacksaw) was first on my list.

The slot itself has a Wild West theme with a slow-burn soundtrack and symbols that depict whiskey, bullets, cowboys, and animal skulls. 

As always, Wilds substitutes all other symbols, except the Bonus and VS symbols and when you land 3 VS symbols, they will expand to cover the reels. When this happens, two outlaws with different multipliers (between 2 and 10) will appear that are applied to your winnings.

Hellcatraz – Relax Gaming

Next up, Hellcatraz from Relax Gaming! And, what a good choice it was because it’s awesome and takes us back to the golden age of 8-bit and 16-bit video games on Nintendo and Sega consoles.

The 9 regular symbols don’t pay out that much but the Bonus features are pretty cool so I suppose they make up for it. 

The Wild is a simple orange W, and steps in to help you form winning combinations, and the game also boasts a cascading wins feature that removes winning symbols from the reels to make way for new ones falling from above. This means that you can land more than one win per spin until the feature ends when no winning combinations are landed. 

The game also has mystery symbols but the feature that I found most interesting is the Free Spins feature that is triggered when you manage to collect 2,000 keys. 

On the left of the screen, you’ll see a meter that needs to be filled with keys by landing regular symbols with between 1 and 10 keys attached to them and although these symbols land quite often, it will still take a while for this feature to be triggered.

Baccarat Baruto – Bombay Live 

Baccarat isn’t usually the most exhilarating game when it comes to graphics and gameplay but Bombay Live has managed to change this with their release of Baccarat Baruto. 

The rules of the game are still the same and are played with 8 decks that consist of 52 cards each. You also need to bet on the player, the banker, a tie, or a side bet, and like always, the aim of the game is to bet on the winning hand. 

But in this version of Baccarat, the banker and the player (that is actually the same guy) act it out behind the croupier and put up a dramatic show that makes it quite bizarre but fun. 

It is a bit tacky, but incredibly entertaining, and I’m hoping to see more developers making Baccarat more fun and engaging. Do yourself a favor and go check it out! It’s weird.
